Product Description The Roll Away Self Cleaning Litter Box cleans in just secounds without scooping. Inside the litter box there is a unique patented grill that seperates out the clumped waste, depositing it into the pullout tray. The Large Litter Box is great for big cats or for multiple cat households.

Can we say clunky? September 8, 2010 AyJay Don't let the product name fool you. I found this box to be anything but self-cleaning! The inner grate misses pieces and I was constantly scraping clumps from the sides. Also, it is clunky,so it won't fit in small spaces and need a lot of room to roll it for the "self cleaning" process, which shakes a lot of litter dust into the room and causes the collector tray to spill small amounts of litter onto the floor through a crack along the outer edge. No matter how far in I pushed the tray, I could not fully close the gap. It is also heavy so people with bad backs, the elderly and smaller children will find it impossible to use. I bought the larger box which is suppose to be for larger or multiple cats but the inside is still so small, if not cleaned constantly, the cat is stepping in their waste. I have since upgraded to a cat genie which I am very happy with. Bottom line, I regret ever wasting money in this piece of junk.
CLIPS BREAK EASILY September 8, 2010 K. Turner (La Crosse, WI) I bought this and absolutely loved it at first. However, within a month one of the clips broke and when I rolled the box I had litter all over. I contacted the Omega Paw people and was promised replacement clips. However, they never sent me any clips. I made numerous attempts to contact them, but I get nothing in response. I tried taping the area together which helped holding the top when rolling. But now I have another broken clip. I don't know why the clips are breaking as I roll it easily.
The customer service for OMEGA PAW stinks.
I wouldn't recommend spending the money for this box, strickly because of the customer service and a definite clip problem.
Perfect if you don't like to scoop litter September 7, 2010 Etschi I do not like to scoop my cats' litter box - i have heard that the automatic ones are not working well so I did not consider buying one of those. I saw this litter box online and it had great reviews! I figured I'd give it a shot! I absolutely LOVE this litter box. No more scooping - just turn it over and your good to go! The only downside (but I don't think it's a big deal) is that if you have smaller "pieces" they can go through the screen inside the litter box and might get stuck in there. If you change the litter, the pieces are easy to remove.
Just to let you know - this litter box is larger than a regular sized one.
I would definately buy this again!
Money well spent. September 6, 2010 NateTheGreat So I was hesitant at first. I've tried the littermaid box already and hated it. I bought the littermaid with the ionizer and it just scraped the poop and pee and didn't really scoop it. Smell wise it didn't help at all, the ionizer was worthless.
SO I saw this and thought i'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I got special kitty brand scoop litter and it works great with it. I love how easy it is to clean the box.
The Cons: I have had the sifting insert come loose while flipping the litter box to clean it and its annoying because then some of the cat poop and pee slides underneath it and not into the slide out drawer. I think I can remedy this with some homemade clip or something though if it continues to be a problem. Easy enough.
My only other problem I have is the usual problem with some of the pee sticking to the bottom. I honestly don't know how to remedy this as no matter how much litter I put it, my cats dig before they go to the bathroom. Then they pee right on the bottom layer of litter and it sticks. So after flipping it, I still have to go in with the scoop to scrape the bottom. I wonder if nonstick spray would work?? ha. Probably not because all the dust that scoopable litter has.
SO I say its money well spent, there is no such thing as a perfect litter box but this one comes close.
Best cat box ever September 6, 2010 KrisT I have tried many types of cat boxes, including the "self cleaning" motorized cat box, this is, by far, the best one I've had. After scooping kitty clumps for nearly 20 years, I felt I just couldn't stand to own a cat any longer, the mess, the smell, the scooping, the hassle of it all...ugh! This takes one of the most dreaded, nasty chores, and takes the pain out of it. Just tip it over and then take out the drawer of clumps. I'm not affiliated with this company in any way, I seriously just want to share this with everyone. Don't hesitate, it's worth it! I also use "The World's Best Cat Litter" with it, and let me tell you, they aren't far off with that proclamation. These two products together make cleaning the cat box hassle free. Try it!
