| Customer Reviews: Great product. June 24, 2010 J. Alvarez (Miami, FL) I ordered these pet stairs for my chihuahua who weights six pounds. These stairs are very sturdy and very easy for him to climb. Even thought the stairs are high the space between the steps is easy for him to climb. I'm glad I invested the money on this product because I know it will last a long time.
mini 5 dog steps June 5, 2010 Sherry I. Mcdonald I feel that the steps are well built, but I feel the steps are to narrow. I have had a hard time getting my dogs to use them.
Well constructed-should last a long time May 20, 2010 Sundoggie I bought these pet steps back in 2007 for my King Charles Spaniel. She loves having the freedom to get up and down the bed whenever she wants. Also, it is easier for me. This way she doesn't whimper for me to hand lift her or try to jump on her own. The pet steps have held up well. They are very nicely constructed. Although they are only meant to hold little dogs, occasionally I will borrow her pet stairs to use as a step stool. I contacted the company and they even did a custom order for me, using extra carpet from my bedroom to make the stairs so everything would match perfectly:) People crack-up when they see my little dog running up the stairs-then they ask me where they can buy them for their dog. I've looked around at some of the pricier pet supply sites, and these seem to be the best value.
Right size January 30, 2010 Leslie J (Roseville, CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I searched forever for a set of pet steps that would reach the top of my very high bed (34"). It seems like all the pets steps go to 20 or 21" and that wasn't high enough for my pomeranian to be able to reach. If I did find anything higher it was in the $200-$300 range which was too expensive.
I finally found these which are 26" high and were not overly expensive. The step height is steep and was a little difficult for my very small dog to negotiate at first, but after some practice she is able to run up, and with a little more care, go down these steps just fine.
They seem to be good quality and I like the carpeting that they are covered with. They are also not too heavy. I have had no complaints so far and would recommend them for anyone with a small dog that needs to get up somewhere high.
